Day One -Arrival in Canmore.
Your journey begins with a private transfer from Calgary International Airport to Canmore. After settling into your accommodations, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner at änkôr Canmore (named one of the top 100 restaurants in Canada) or a similar fine-dining establishment. This is an opportunity to connect, review the week ahead, and get to know each other. The accommodations for the trips duration nights are the Everwild Canmore hotel.
Day Two - Ha Ling Hike. 4.7 mi 2,625 ft (+/-800 m )
After Breakfast (included) We begin the week by exploring Canmore’s iconic Ha Ling Peak. The steady effort of the ascent is rewarded with sweeping views of the Bow Valley, Mount Rundle, and surrounding peaks. This hike is a powerful introduction to the terrain and scale of the Canadian Rockies. its considered strenuous (3-5 hours) and a breathtaking place to eat lunch, and take it all in. We then return to the Everwild.
Day Three- Lake O'Hara. 5.6- 7.5 m (9- 12 km) +2300 ft -2300 ft
Today we enter the most exclusive and protected alpine area in the Canadian Rockies. With our private permits secured, we bypass the public lottery for a day of unparalleled hiking. We'll choose from legendary routes like the Alpine Circuit, Lake Oesa, or Opabin Lake. This day is defined by stillness that few ever get.
Day Four -Lake Louise Hike. 8.6 mi (13.8 km) +-1,970 ft (600m)
Choose between two classic Lake Louise hikes, each offering a different perspective on this breathtaking hamlet in Banff National Park. Options include the Plain of Six Glaciers or the Lake Agnes and Beehive routes. Both include incredible glacier, mountain, and lake views, plus a stop at the historic Lake Agnes Teahouse.
Day Five- Iceline Trail Hike. 6.2-12.4 mi(10-20 km) +/-2,300 ft (700 m)
We head west into Yoho National Park for one of the most dramatic days of the trip. Starting near Takakkaw Falls, the trail climbs steadily alongside waterfalls and icefields before opening onto a high alpine bench with expansive glacier views.
Day Six- Paget Lookout & Sherbrooke Lake Hike 6.2 mi (10 km) +/-1,800 ft (550 m)
A steady climb leads to the historic Paget Lookout, where you get a birds-eye view of Kicking Horse Valley. From there, we continue to Sherbrooke Lake, a quiet, forest-framed alternative to the region’s busier glacial lakes.
Day Seven- Stanley Glacier Hike. 6.8 mi (11 km) +/- 1,970 ft (600m)
Our final full hiking day explores a landscape shaped by both destruction and renewal. After making our way through forests regrowing after wildfires, the trail opens into cliffs, waterfalls, and views of the Stanley Glacier. It’s a powerful closing chapter to the week.
Day Eight- Departure
Enjoy a delicious, leisurely breakfast before taking a private transfer back to Calgary International Airport with your luggage, memories, and connection to the Rockies in tow.
