Day One:
Our adventure begins in Curry Village, where we’ll meet our instructors and fellow travelers. We’ll take some time to get familiar with our gear and ensure everything is properly packed before setting off on the Yosemite Falls Trail.

As we hike, we’ll learn about the rich history of this incredible landscape while soaking in breathtaking views at oh my gosh point. Along the way, we’ll practice essential backcountry skills, including map and compass navigation. We’ll end the day by setting up camp and enjoying a well-earned, delicious meal under the stars.

Day Two:
We start the day with a hearty breakfast before heading out for an incredible hike to Eagle Peak. This viewpoint offers breathtaking panoramic vistas, perfect for soaking in Yosemite’s beauty.

Next, we make our way to Yosemite Falls, where I’ll guide you to the best photo spots and share fascinating history about the area. From there, we continue our morning trek to North Dome, where we’ll enjoy lunch under the shade of towering ponderosa pines, all while taking in one of the most stunning views of Half Dome.

After lunch, we have options—head to camp early for some well-earned relaxation or take a short detour to the incredible Indian Rock Arch, a perfect spot to catch the afternoon light.

We’ll settle in for the night at the top of Snow Creek, where the peaceful sounds of the creek set the scene for an evening around the fire. This area is known for bear activity, so we’ll review bear safety measures—and if we’re lucky, we might even spot one on the way down!

Day Three:
We wake up to the soothing sounds of Snow Creek and enjoy a warm breakfast before packing up camp. Today’s journey takes us down the Snow Creek Trail, offering stunning views of Tenaya Canyon and the High Sierra as we descend.

Along the way, we’ll take breaks to appreciate the scenery, snap some final photos, and reflect on the incredible adventure we’ve had. As we near the valley floor, we’ll soak in our last moments on the trail before wrapping up our journey back in Curry Village.

This final stretch is a chance to celebrate all we’ve learned, from backcountry skills to Yosemite’s rich history, and take home memories (and photos) that will last a lifetime!
