Why This Trip?
Moab is famous for its views, but some of the best experiences happen when you leave the overlooks behind and start moving through the landscape itself.
This 3-day canyoneering, climbing, and camping adventure is designed for small groups who want a more immersive way to experience the desert without needing prior technical experience. Come with your favorite adventure partner, a few close friends, or the people you most want to share the experience with.
Over three days, you’ll build confidence, explore two distinct canyons, spend your evenings camping under the desert sky, and finish the trip climbing on classic Moab sandstone.
You’ll experience:
Moving through sandstone canyons using hands-on canyoneering skills
Learning the equipment and systems that make canyon travel possible
Progressing from a shorter introductory canyon into a bigger desert objective
Camping for two nights surrounded by Moab’s desert landscape
Exploring quieter terrain away from the busiest roadside attractions
Beginner-friendly outdoor rock climbing on classic sandstone
A flexible pace that allows the trip to adapt to your group, weather, and energy
Sharing three full days of adventure with a small group while the logistics are handled for you
The trip is built to feel adventurous without feeling rushed. Your guide is with you every step of the way, helping you learn, explore, and get comfortable as the experience grows from day to day.
Two nights of camping. Three days of adventure. A completely different way to experience Moab.

Day 1 – Gear Check, Camp & Bow and Arrow Canyon
We’ll meet in Moab around 2 PM for introductions, a full gear check, and an overview of the adventure ahead. From there, we’ll head out to set up camp and get settled into the desert. If time allows, we’ll kick things off with Bow and Arrow Canyon—a shorter canyon and a great introduction to rappelling, desert movement, and the sandstone landscape we’ll be exploring over the next few days.
Day 2 – Full Canyoneering Day
Today we’ll head out for a full day of canyoneering in either Moonflower Canyon or Medieval Chamber. Expect a combination of hiking, scrambling, rappelling, and exploring some of Moab’s incredible sandstone terrain. Your guide will choose the best objective based on the group, conditions, and what everyone is most excited to experience.
Day 3 – Climb or Canyon
For our final morning, we’ll choose one more adventure based on the group’s goals. We can spend a half day rock climbing at Ice Cream Parlor, with routes suited to a range of experience levels, or keep the canyon adventure going with a trip through Pinchot Canyon. Afterward, we’ll wrap up our time together and head back toward Moab.
Moab is full of magical little side quests, and no two trips need to look exactly the same. Weather, conditions, group energy, and what you’re most excited about can all shape the adventure. If there’s something you’d love to squeeze in along the way, be sure to let your guide know—we love leaving a little room for the desert to surprise us.
